If I Have to Do This, So Do You

What it does

Unpleasant participation becomes mandatory for one additional person in the name of friendship and fairness.

Use it when

  • A difficult task needs a witness or accomplice.
  • You refuse to experience something dreadful alone.
  • Shared suffering is the closest available form of support.

For example

  1. The apartment inspection requires someone else to look behind the refrigerator.
  2. “I watched your cursed documentary. Queue mine.”
  3. You bring a friend to the tax office because suffering alone would be excessive.
